Learn the fundamental how-to’s of un-cooking with raw food chef instructor, author and Live Island Institute founder Okima. This 8-hour class covers produce selection, sprouting, fermenting, dehydrating, kitchen equipment, knife skills and creation of several delicious raw food recipes including appetizers, entrées and desserts. For maximum participation, class size is limited to 2-8 students. Students must be at least 18 to participate alone. Participants 11-17 MUST be accompanied by a tuition-paying adult. 1-hour $50pp; 8-hour $150 pp; Group discounts available.

Kids and parents learn how to prepare simple healthy raw food snacks. This 45 min-1 hour class covers healthy eating tips, kitchen equipment and safety, basic culinary vocabulary, safe food handing guidelines and preparation of two raw food recipes. Participation is limited to 5 children and their caregiver. All childrenMUST be accompanied by an adult who stays for the entire program. This program can be brought to groups at their location. Off premises classes may have more participants and require booking 2 weeks in advance. $25 per child.
